neu aus alt:
genügsam im materialeinsatz, im umfang, im anspruch. die welt und die ressourcen überlegt benutzend, nur wenig verbrauchend. verträglich in der umgebung, sein – nicht versteckt, träumen können, perspektiven haben dürfen, das mögliche erreichen, unshabby.
BV steht für „buena vista“ und schaut auf‘s deutsche museum.

make new from old:
frugal in material usage, and volume, but ambitious. the world and its resources deliberately used. compatible to context, no hide-out, enjoying a chance to dream to have perspectives, in short: far from shabby.
BV stands for ‘buena vista‘ and It overlooks the ’deutsche museum’.


mehr als ein zelt, mehr als ein schirm, mehr in der welt als hinter einer mauer. geborgen sein im kleinen raum, für eine person, für zwei sehr schlanke, sehr liebende und modular für freiheitssinnige mikrosoziale gruppen oder nur getrennt schlafende.
das PETSHED BV wird – ein wenig geschick vorausgesetzt – weitgehend ohne werkzeug zusammengebaut, ein taschenmesser ist hilfreich.

more than a tent, more than an umbrella, more than just a world behind a wall. to feel protected in a small space: for one person, or for slim ones,  or very enamoured ones, or modular combined for micro-social groups.
the PETSHED BV can be build without any tools (although a swiss army knife helps).


die flaschen bilden im verbund die selbsttragende struktur, die paletten sichern die formstabilität, die stretchfolie gibt halt und hält den regen ab.

the bottles serve as self-supporting structure, the pallets stabilize the form, the stretchy foil connects the parts and keeps  the rain out.


am ende der nutzungszeit kann das PETSHED BV weitgehend dem rohstoffkreislauf zugeführt werden:
barcodes auf die flaschen kleben und einlösen, die ziegelpaletten sind ohnehin auf mehrwegverwendung
ausgerichtet, die stretchfolienreste können wohl nur thermisch verwertet werden.

after the end of the shabbyshabby event, the PETSHED BV will be brought straight back to the  raw materials cyle: stick a barcode to the bottle and get the deposit, the pallet –originally for bricks –is a returnable one, the foil can be thermally reused.
